The M26 Pershing was a heavy tank of the United States Army. It was used in the last months of World War II during the inasion of Germany.
M26 was designed to be a replacement of the M4 Sherman against the Panther and Tiger tank. The most famous battle for a Pershing in WWII was the Tank Duel in Cologne and it successfully destroyed a Panther tank from Germany.
